Today is a very special day for the people of South Sudan, it's a day that we remember our fallen heroes, men and women across the country. As a people it's important that we don't take their sacrifices for granted, therefore, we have to search for the truth and bring peace back to this country so that their love one's who they have left behind enjoy peace and prosperity.
This morning I left Juba for Bor with the team from UNMISS and will proceed to Duk-Padiet tomorrow morning with our governor of Jonglei State and the elders for a peace dialogue between our communities. Please pray for us and the people of South Sudan in this critical time.
